In this raucous romantic comedy, John (Owen Wilson) and his partner in crime, Jeremy (Vince Vaughn), are emotional criminals; they know just how to use a woman's hopes and dreams for their own carnal gain. Their modus operandi is to crash weddings so they can meet guests who want to hook up with someone else on such a romantic day. But when John meets Claire (Rachel McAdams), he discovers what true love -- and heartache -- feels like.
While I love Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, for the love of god, someone get this film editing. At over 2 hours, easily 30 minutes could have and should have been cut.

This movie showcases Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson playing off of each other at their best. The laughs come throughout, yet there is a good romantic undertone which makes this movie a great date movie. I really have no complaints about this movie, yet I seem to compare all movies to Old School anymore and while this movie is excellent, it doesn't quite reach that standard. Isla Fisher really shines as the crazy sister Gloria Cleary. Her perfomance combined with Vaughn and Wilson really make this movie hilarious. The R-Rating for this movie is well-deserved. In the vein of Old School, Road Trip and 40 year old virgin, much of the humor is sexually-based and the language reflects that. Sexual situations are throughout which is to be expected. Between the 40 year old virgin and Wedding Crashers there is alot offered for comedy fans. This movie is one both the guys and girl in the can enjoy as Rachel McAdam's character will really appeal to the romantics in the crowd while the rest of the cast will keep you in stitches throughout.

This movie was a total waste of time. Not only wasn't it funny, it wasn't all that unique. It was a boring format that you could see coming a mile away and even Will Ferral was a poor imitation of other characters he has done.

I thought this movie was about crashing weddings, but they only did that for about the first 15 minutes of the movie. It's more of a chick flick with boobs. Let me know if Wilson and Vaughn get together in a funny movie.

I had heard so much about this movie being great, I was excited to check it out. Unfortunatly, your typical episode of The Office has more laughs in it than this entire film. Also, The Office is clever. This film is not. Oh, and this movie is way too long. The last 60 minutes of the film is just a series of boring montages (I found myself singing "What we need is a Montage!" from Team America). If you want a good R-Rated comedy, add Revenge of the Nerds to your queue. Or 40 Year Old Virgin.

I saw the unrated version and it had some really hilarious moments, and the many location shots were nice to look at - gave it some polish it might not have had otherwise. The UR version is a bit long and feels a tad dragged out. It's unfortunate that the scene where Wilson and Vaughn sing 99 LuftBaloons was cut, but I can see why. One thing I liked though was a subtle yet pointed jab at stuffy pseudo-royal families like the Bushes and the Kennedys, and the not so subtle cariacture of "Sack" who is obviously supposed to be an amalgamation of Young Rich Upper Crustaceans. Hilarious and dead on!

If there had been anyone else cast in the movie besides Vaughn and McAdams, this movie would be a dire, stank, miserable mess. If you are the type to love Vince Vaughn in anything he does, or just love looking at Rachel McAdams (hey who doesn't), then this is worth it. If you couldn't give two hoots about these two, then you're better off with Old School.

Throughout this movie, all you're wondering is if they could possibly do something to make up for the disgusting premise. The characters of Vaughn and Wilson are extremely hard to like during the first half of the film. I know, it's hard to believe that Owen Wilson saying "Bobagadoosh" repeatedly would be at all annoying, but get this - it IS! No, it's not just that, it also is not nearly as funny as any movie you can think up off the top of your head. It has maybe a total of three moments that shine, out of of over two hours. Much too long, much too predictable, and a huge waste of time. I didn't think Vince Vaughn could be this un-funny.

Wedding Crashers is a romp, as expected, but a romp with a resolution. Colin Wilson and Vince Vaughn are a hoot as two energetic party animals and impressive schmoozers of kids, grandparents, and parents in their pursuit of willing young women to bed; they are also disciplined adherents to the Wedding Crashers code, which propounds more than 100 maxims and strictures (many which are cited in the DVD's special features). It's a letdown when they meet the code's revered founder, who turns out to be a smarmy a--hole. They also both fall in love with the daughters of the Treasury Secretary, played engagingly by Christopher Walken. This movie shows more than two single men behaving with zeal and wild abandon; it shows how they willingly reconsider their ways and choose to pursue their hearts and do the right thing. The writing and production values are excellent, if some of the humor was (to me anyway) predictable. 4 stars.

This is a solid funny movie. You hoped it would be with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. It has a little romance in it, but it doesn't take away from the comedy. A must see for those who like the two stars and can handle the adult language. "Make me a bicycle, clown!"

A polished, mainstream comedy I was able to appreciate this movie on technical merit. I also thought some of the characters were genuinely funny (the crazy gal that plays the love interest for Vaughn made me laugh a few times.) But ultimately, I thought this flick played it too safe and was a bit predictable as a result. It also occasionally felt like a chick flick but the writing was of high enough quality that I didn't care. Not bad, not great; 3.5 stars.

I don't know why people like this film so much. The jokes are boring. The writing was pretty much uneven. The first half of this film okay but the 2nd half was just blah. didn't enjoy all that much.
