Scrapped Princess

A young princess tries to escape her dark destiny in this anime based on Ichiro Sakaki and Yukinobu Asami's popular fantasy-adventure manga stories. When prophets predict that the fate of princess Pacifica Cassul is to bring destruction to the world, authorities sentence the young girl to death. Her protective brother and sister decide to raise Pacifica in a top secret location, and she grows up ... but her doomsday date with destiny draws near.

Being a "Newbie" to real anime I may not know all the technical jargon, but I do know what I like or don't like. I loved this entire series! The story was solid and well balanced. Just enough past to let you know, without bloating the entire story. Though there are a few fight scenes, its more a story about love, hope, faith and discovery. The characters grow on you and soon you find yourself embracing the true depth of this series. I say go for it!
