Accompanied by his sidekick, Sancho Panza (Akim Tamiroff), Don Quixote (Francisco Reiguera) goes chasing windmills and encounters a fantastical world of castles, giants and beautiful maidens who aren't quite what they seem. Legendary director Orson Welles interprets Miguel de Cervantes's classic tale of impossible dreams and unbridled idealism in this rarely seen Spanish-language drama that was not completed until after Welles's death.
Contrary to the details given, there was no choice of languages, and no subtitles at all. It only came with some really terrible English dubbing that got old quick. As a failed Orson Welles project it's a novelty at best. Don't expect a hidden gem which is what I was looking for. If you can't resist your curiosity, don't take my word for it, by all means see for yourself. Just don't say I didn't warn you.
