The first disc of this set, which contains the 6 regular episodes is great; unfortunately this disc of bonus features is mostly lacking. As one other review mentioned, the Christmas special (which is the main segment on this bonus disc) is absolutely wonderful, and worth seeing. The 15 minute excerpt from the unaired pilot is also funny, and worth a viewing. The rest of the bonus material isn't all that interesting, and can probably be skipped by casual fans of the series. All in all, it's too bad the Christmas special couldn't have been included on the first disc, but since it wasn't, and if you need all the Alan Partridge you can get, then rent this disc.
