Philippe Petit captured the world's attention in 1974 when he successfully walked across a high wire between New York's Twin Towers. This documentary explores the preparations that went into the stunt as well as the event and its aftermath. Obsessed with the towers even before they were fully constructed, Petit sneaked into the buildings several times to determine the equipment he needed to accomplish his daring feat.
Snow Angels
Set in the 1970s, this indie drama starring Kate Beckinsale intertwines parallel stories about teenager Arthur Parkinson (Michael Angarano) and his former baby sitter, Annie Marchand (Beckinsale). Once the object of Arthur's boyhood infatuation, small-town waitress Annie heads down a fateful path after enduring a stormy relationship with her estranged spouse (Sam Rockwell). The supporting cast includes Olivia Thirby and Griffin Dunne.
The Wackness

WALL-E

Due to a mishap, the dutiful WALL-E is the only one left. But with the arrival of a female probe named EVE, the monotony of WALL-E's existence is broken -- and he experiences love for the first time. Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) directs this Pixar tale with a sci-fi twist.
The Visitor

A wonderful Hiam Abbass co-stars as Tarek's mother, who forges an unlikely connection with Walter. The Dark Knight

The IT Crowd: Season 1
The most important people at Reynholm Industries are the tech support team, or at least that's how Moss (Richard Ayoade) and Roy (Joel McHale) see things in this comedy about the vast gulf between the IT department and the employees who need their services. Office manager Jen (Jessica St. Clair) has the difficult job of making sure the two socially incompetent technical wizards keep everything running without alienating anyone.

Although Hoffman didn't win a Best Actor Oscar, his Ratso characterization - the vilified butt of everyone's jokes - is absolutely heartbreaking.

Slackers Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (Seann William Scott) have coasted their way through jobs at an energy drink company. When their goofing off catches up with them, they're sentenced to community service with the Sturdy Wings mentoring program. The assignment is supposed to teach them responsibility, but it just proves that they're the last people who should be in charge of kids. Elizabeth Banks co-stars in David Wain's sidesplitting comedy.
Frozen River
On a Mohawk reservation on the Canadian border, blue collar Ray (Melissa Leo) teams with widowed tribe member Lila (Misty Upham) to smuggle illegal immigrants into the United States. Although the work provides the women with much-needed money, each trip puts them in danger.
