This documentary tracks 18-year-old Faron's struggle to reconcile his drug addiction with his deeply ingrained desire to live the Amish life.

American Splendor
Harvey Pekar (Paul Giamatti) was a working-class stiff, a file clerk who found an outlet for his creativity by chronicling every minutia of his life in Cleveland, Oh., for more than 20 years in a comic-book series called American Splendor. This revealing biopic co-stars Hope Davis and tells Pekar's story through two-dimensional images, archival footage and more.

Along Came Polly
Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller) believes that if you plan ahead and play it safe, you can have a pretty good life. Days of Heaven
Director Terrence Malick's beautifully shot period piece tells the story of Bill (Richard Gere), an early-1900s Chicago steel mill worker who flees town after accidentally killing a man. He moves his girlfriend Abby (Brooke Adams) and younger sister to the wheat fields of Texas to search for a better life. Instead, they run into tragedy when a wealthy farmer (Sam Shepard) falls for Abby. The film's cinematography earned an Oscar.

Maria Full of Grace
Maria Full of Grace is the harrowing story of an atypical drug-running "mule." Maria Alvarez (Catalina Sandino Moreno, whose portrayal earned her an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead) is a smart, independent 17-year-old girl from Colombia who agrees to smuggle a half-kilo of heroin into the United States for a shot at a normal existence in the magical land of "El Norte" -- where she imagines the city streets must be paved with gold.

Fight Club

Murderball
Rugby-playing quadriplegics compete for the Paralympic gold medal in this documentary about an amazing sport and the strong-willed athletes who play full-contact rugby using specially designed wheelchairs. The film follows the U.S. Quad Rugby Team as they compete in the 2002 World Championships and the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. Murderball won the 2005 Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival.

Castle in the Sky

Before Sunset

The high-octane documentary centers on "Tommy the Clown," a former birthday entertainer who opened a school to train community kids to krump -- and keep them out of trouble.

The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada
Tommy Lee Jones stars in and directs this dark comedy set on the Texas-Mexico border. The Story of Qiu Ju

Set in a remote Chinese province, the film follows pregnant peasant Qui Ju on her resolute quest for justice after the village elder kicks her husband in the family jewels. Merely seeking an apology from the stubborn chief, Qui Ju soon gets caught in the cogs of an exasperating legal system.

Henry V
Kenneth Branagh received Oscar nods for both directing and starring in Shakespeare's homage to the English king who united France and England. Bold, realistic battle scenes and impassioned speeches that uncover the treachery of the king's advisors and unite a heavily outnumbered army ("we happy few…") keep even the iambic-pentameter-phobic engrossed. Watch for Emma Thompson's funny and sweet-natured turn as the French princess.

The Pursuit of Happyness

What's Up, Tiger Lily?
Woody Allen's first directorial effort started life as a B-grade Japanese spy drama. Allen dubbed in an entirely new soundtrack, featuring brand-new dialogue that turns the story into a ridiculous search for the perfect egg salad recipe. The pop group Lovin' Spoonful is also on hand to give the film a hip 1960s feel that's hilariously out of synch with what's occurring on-screen. A laugh riot from beginning to end!
